Roller bottles are fun and easy to use! Prepare the blends when you are at home, and keep it in your bag or drawer of your desk. Roll your anti-stress blend on the back of your neck, wrists or temples whenever you feel it is necessary.
- 3 tsp (15 ml) Jojoba oil
- 9 drops Roman chamomile
Blend well in a glass bowl. Add the blend in a glass roller ball bottle using a funnel if you like. Label the bottle and you are ready to start rolling!
2. Sleepy Time Tummy Rub
For an easier and more restful sleep, this tummy rub can be used on the belly of both adults and kids but, of course, in different dilutions.
For Kids
- 10 ml sweet almond oil
- 1 drop Roman chamomile
Keep the blend in a glass jar and use it before going to sleep. Keep the blend away from the reach of children to prevent ingesting. Keep away from the eyes, mucous membranes, and ears.
For Adults
- 15 ml sweet almond oil
- 5 drops Roman chamomile
- 4 drops lavender
Blend well, keep the blend in a glass container and use just before bedtime.

- 3 tsp. of aloe vera gel
- 1 tsp rosehip seed oil
- 8 drops roman chamomile
- 4 drops rose essential oil
Blend everything well, and keep in a tinted glass container. Use 3-4 times a day, or as needed.

This recipe contains natural ingredients that have been historically used due to their healing properties. For example, it is said that ancient Greek warriors used St John’s Wort Oil after battles to heal their wounds.
- 1 tsp St John’s Wort Oil
- 1 tsp aloe vera gel
- 1 tsp wheat germ oil
- 1 tsp calendula oil
- 5 drops roman chamomile
- 5 drops lavender
Blend well, then keep the mixture in a glass jar. Use 3-4 times a day, depending on the seriousness of the burn.
5. Hemorrhoids Relief Cream
Both Roman chamomile and yarrow essential oil have been successfully used to reduce inflammation and soothe sore patches of skin. These characteristics make these two oils great for the relief and quicker healing of Hemorrhoids.
- 5 tsp calendula cream
- 6 drops roman chamomile
- 5 drops yarrow
Blend well. Keep the blend in a glass jar and use whenever your piles are irritated and inflamed.
Safety: In the above recipe, the dilution of yarrow is approximately 1%. In strong dilutions, there is a risk for neurotoxicity and, therefore, yarrow essential oil should be avoided in cases of epilepsy. Yarrow may also interact with certain medications. Avoid during pregnancy.
6. DIY Nappy Rash Cream
- 5 tsp organic calendula cream
- 1 drop roman chamomile
Blend well and keep in a glass jar. Apply little cream on clean skin and let the baby air dry for a while before fastening the clean diaper.
7. PMS Relief Balm
First, make a balm base:
- 50 ml. of Jojoba oil
- 1 tbsp cold pressed coconut oil
- 2 tbsp organic beeswax
Melt all together in a bain marie. Allow it to cool a little and then transfer to glass jars and let it further cool and solidify.
- 20 ml of the balm base
- 7 drops roman chamomile
- 6 drops clary sage
- 2 drops bergamot
Blend together very well. Put the blend in a glass jar and apply whenever necessary on the bottoms of your feet, behind your ears, on your neck or belly.
8. Calm-Home Diffuser Blend
- distilled water
- 3-5 drops roman chamomile
- 3-5 drops lavender
Fill your diffuser preferably with distilled water up to the fill line of the reservoir. Add the oils and turn on the device. Use the timer if you think that it is necessary.
Do this one hour prior to bedtime, creating a specific ‘wind-down’ period to relax the atmosphere and calm down any frayed nerves. Also do this when times of calm and focus are needed, like family discussions or study times.
9. Anti-Allergen Natural Room Spray

- 8 drops roman chamomile
- 5 drops cypress
- 5 drops lavender
- 2 ounce glass spray bottle
- 1 tsp vodka
- distilled water.
Add the oils and vodka to the glass spray bottle, and swirl gently to mix. Fill the rest of the bottle with the water, again gently swirling the bottle. Spray 3-4 times a day or whenever you think it is necessary.
Please do not use during the first 16 weeks of pregnancy.
