1. Irritated Skin Soothing Spray


  • ½ tablespoon honey
  • 15 drops lavender
  • 8 drops tea tree
  • 8 drops chamomile matricaria
  • 8 drops carrot seed
  • 3 drops bergamot
  • ¼ cup aloe vera gel
  • ¼ cup witch hazel

Blend everything except the witch hazel thoroughly. Once above ingredients are thoroughly mixed, add witch hazel and mix again.

Pour mixture into a spray bottle and spray onto itchy skin being careful to avoid eyes and areas of broken skin.

2. Blemish Serum


  • ½ teaspoon grapeseed oil
  • 2 drops of bergamot FCF (furocoumarin-free)

Blend together, and keep in a dark glass container. Use a facial swab to dab directly on blemishes one daily, avoiding eyes.

This blend is not suitable for use during the first 16 weeks of pregnancy. Adjust recipe to 2 ½   teaspoons grapeseed oil and 1 drop of bergamot oil if using the non-FCF variety. Avoid direct sun exposure for 12 hours following non-FCF application.

3. Cologne


  • 3 drops cedarwood atlas
  • 2 drops bergamot
  • 1 drop sandalwood
  • 4 ounces vodka.

Blend together, pour into a glass cologne bottle and spray on skin when needed,  avoiding eyes.

4. Lava Stone Diffuser Necklace

Plug in your diffuser and pour in distilled water up to the fill line. Add the oils, turn on the diffuser and set the timer if desired. It’s bedtime!

7. Respiratory Support Steam Inhalation


  • 1 drop eucalyptus
  • 1 drop myrrh
  • 1 drop bergamot
  • 1 drop tea tree
  • a large bowl of boiling distilled water.

Add the oils to the water, and lean over the bowl so your face is about 6-8 inches from the water (avoid getting closer as you don’t want to scald yourself). Make an airtight tent over your head and the bowl using a towel.

Breathe deeply and slowly. Continue the stream treatment for up to 10 minutes.

This blend is not suitable for use during the first pregnancy. After first 16 weeks of pregnancy, this recipe may be used by eliminating the myrrh essential oil.

8. Unhappy Tummy Rub


  • 2 ½ teaspoons coconut carrier oil
  • 1 drop bergamot
  • 2 drops Roman chamomile

Blend well and rub on tummy as needed to relieve occasional gas and/or bloating.

9. Renal System Support Bath


  • 3 drops bergamot
  • 3 drops tea tree
  • 3 drops lavender
  • 1/2 cup epsom salts

Blend the oils with the epsom salts, mashing it around to do so. Add to the water when running your  evening bath. Soak for at least 10 minutes. Don’t wait for an emergency to use this one. Rather make it part of a regular routine for consistent support.

10. Citrusy Air Freshening Room Spray


  • 4 drops bergamot
  • 4 drops sweet orange
  • 4 drops mandarin
  • 1 teaspoon vodka
  • 50 ml spray bottle
  • Distilled water

Blend the the vodka and oils, add to the spray bottle and fill with distilled water. Shake gently to mix. Spray throughout your home to eliminate odors.

  • 4 drops bergamot
  • 4 drops tea tree
  • 4 drops lavender
  • 1 teaspoon vodka
  • 50 ml spray bottle
  • Distilled water

Blend the the vodka and oils, add to the spray bottle and fill with distilled water. Shake gently to mix. Use to clean hard surfaces throughout your home

12. Fruit Fly Deterrent


  • 5 drops bergamot
  • 5 drops clove bud

Blend well and soak several cotton balls in this blend. Distribute the cotton balls throughout kitchen to deter fruit flies
